Cassandra Fraiser is a female Hankan and the adoptive daughter of Dr. Janet Fraiser.

Cassandra grew up on Hanka with her mother. The Goa'uld Nirrti released a bacteria on the planet that didn't affect her, killing everyone else and implanting a Goa'uld Naquadah-Potassium bomb in her. She hid when teams from Earth arrived and took a tag that was placed on one of the dead bodies. Teal'c, the only member of SG-1 not in a Hazmat suit, convinced Cassandra to come out with him. She became attached to Samantha Carter and was taken back to Earth. She said that she was in pain but nothing was found, however she shortly collapsed afterwards going into cardiac arrest. An X-ray was done and found the bomb forming in her chest and with no option to remove it before it exploded, she was going to be taken back to her planet and left behind. Jack O'Neill and Teal'c returned, with the latter realizing that the bomb would explode if she went near the Stargate again and she slipped into a coma. With time running out, they took her to Storage facility No.68 to prevent the explosion and subsequent radiation from harming people and Carter took her down to the lower levels but she woke up along the way and Carter refuses to leave her alone to die. Fortunately, moving further away from the Stargate caused the bomb to begin to break down and there was no explosion. She was adopted by Dr. Fraiser and given a dog by O'Neill. (SG1: "Singularity") She met with Carter one day and almost immediately sensed the symbiote that had infested Carter, due to the Naquadah in her blood. The symbiote told Cassandra that if she told anyone about it, they would kill her. She refused to speak with Fraiser and asked to see O'Neill revealing what had happened to Carter. (SG1: "In the Line of Duty")

Cassandra was taught by Mrs. Struble and in 1999 had entered Junior High. (SG1: "Learning Curve") Cassandra and Fraiser rented a rowboat one weekend and were potentially joined by Carter. (SG1: "Urgo") Cassandra met a boy called Dominic in school and the two were interested in one another. On her birthday in 2001 she collapsed and it was discovered a retrovirus was altering her DNA. It was discovered that Nirrti had been experimenting on the Hankans to accelerate their evolution and that without intervention Cassandra would die. Cassandra developed a form of telekinesis and began to believe that it was a good thing that was happening to her. She sensed a Goa'uld near her and the SGC captured Nirrti who had come to collect data on Cassandra. As Cassandra began to die, a deal was made with Nirrti to save her life. (SG1: "Rite of Passage") At some point decades in the future, Cassandra was told by Carter that she would see SG-1 again as they travel forward in time and that she would be the one to send them back to their correct time. She met them far in the future, remarking that it was good to see them all again but wouldn't tell them anything else. She activated the Stargate for them, allowing them to get back to 1998. (SG1: "1969") In 2003 her adoptive mother was killed. (SG1: "Heroes, Part 1") In 2005 she was going through a tough time and Carter took a position at Area 51 so she could have more free time to spend with her. (SG1: "Ex Deus Machina")
