Children of the Gods, Within the Serpent's Grasp, The Serpent's Lair, Pretense

Klorel is a Goa'uld and the son of Apophis.

Skaara was chosen to be Klorel's host on Chulak and implanted into him. When Jack O'Neill approached him wanting to get Skaara back, he used his hand device to throw O'Neill back and then retreated through the Stargate. He was chosen to command a Ha'tak for an attack on Earth and during the journey was attacked by O'Neill and Teal'c who wanted to speak to Skaara. O'Neill used a Zat'nik'tel to stun Klorel, briefly allowing Skaara to speak. When his guards rescued him, Klorel shot O'Neill with a zat back. He presented them to Apophis who ordered Klorel to kill them both. He delayed their execution to show O'Neill that their ships were close to Earth and that he would make him watch as he destroyed Earth before killing him. The rest of SG-1 attacked and Klorel captured Daniel Jackson using his hand device to attempt to kill him, forcing O'Neill to shoot him dead. (SG1: "Children of the Gods", "Within the Serpent's Grasp")

Bra'tac put Klorel into his Sarcophagus, in order to stall the attack on Earth for a short while. When he rose he was angry and wanted to burn Earth to ashes. When two weapons were launched at the ships, Klorel hesitated activating the shields seemingly because of Skaara but he eventually gained control and activated them. He told Apophis that he may need more time in the sarcophagus but was rebuffed. Bra'tac arrived and declared himself free and would no longer serve the Goa'uld, causing Klorel to begin to kill him with his hand device. SG-1 arrived, killing the nearby Jaffa and taking Klorel as a hostage. They transported over to Apophis' Ha'tak and released Klorel. With the ships controls damaged, Apophis left with Klorel using the Ring Transporter to escape before the ships were destroyed. (SG1: "The Serpent's Lair")

Klorel was fleeing a battle group sent by Heru'ur and lead them to Tollana where the Tollan Ion cannons destroyed the two Ha'taks and Klorel's Death glider crashed on the planet. Skaara asked that they remove Klorel but Klorel refused so under Tollan law they had a Triad to determine who would gain control of Skaara's body. When SG-1 arrived to represent Skaara, Klorel saw them and said that they would pay for what they did to his father. The Goa'uld Zipacna arrived to represent Klorel and the two talked in private. Zipacna argued that Skaara belonged to Klorel due to the Abydonians being property of Ra. At the conclusion of the Triad Skaara was awarded control and the Tok'ra arrived and removed Klorel, sending them through the Stargate. (SG1: "Pretense")
