Portrayed by

Christopher Judge, Richard Dean Anderson

Teal'c is a male Jaffa, a former First Prime of Apophis, a member of Stargate Command and a member SG-1.

Early life

Teal'c was born in 1898. (SG1: "The Light") Teal'c's father chose his name when he was born, which means 'strength'. (SG1: "Past and Present") His father was the First Prime of Cronus but after losing an unwinnable battle, he was killed by Cronus and Teal'c and his mother were exiled from Cronus' territiory. They fled to Chulak and he vowed to become the strongest Jaffa in service of Apophis, Cronus' enemy. (SG1: "Fair Game") He was close with Shaun'auc when they were younger and the two had a relationship. (SG1: "Crossroads") Teal'c was trained by Bra'tac, alongside Arkad, and took part in Jaffa challenges, following the Rules of engagement, and killing an opposing team. (SG1: "Talion", "Rules of Engagement") Teal'c was brought before Apophis, who asked him who his father was and when Teal'c told him who he was and what he had done, Apophis called him a coward and Teal'c defended his father, leaving Apophis to use his Hand device on Teal'c. During a campaign against Ra Teal'c was sent to execute Va'lar, an old friend who had retreated from battle, and Teal'c let him go free instead, taking another symbiote from a dead Jaffa to show to Apophis. When Apophis was unaware of the deception Teal'c realize the truth about the Goa'uld. Apophis went him to take out some of Ra's followers and he came across Va'lar and had to kill him to hide his deception. (SG1: "Threshold")

He was made First Prime of Apophis and had been serving since before the 1990's (SG1: "Threshold", "Bloodlines", "Cor-ai") After defeating Arkad and bombing Co'rak, Teal'c's mother was murdered and Teal'c caught and killed the killer, and suspected that Arkad had ordered it. (SG1: "Talion") He was on Cartago when he was ordered by Apophis to kill one of the Byrsa to get the others into line, he chose an old crippled man knowing that without him slowing them down the Byrsa could more easily escape next time the Goa'uld showed up. (SG1: "Cor-ai") He married Drey'auc at some point and they had a son, Rya'c, and lived in a house on Chulak that Apophis gave to Teal'c as a gift for his years of service. (SG1: "Bloodlines")

Choosing Freedom

Teal'c was implanted with his 12th symtiote around 1997. (SG1: "Children of the Gods - Final Cut") He went with Apophis to Earth, kidnapping a female soldier and then to Abydos and kidnapped Sha're and Skaara. Teal'c later chose Sha're out of the Chulak Prison to be moved to another chamber with potential hosts for Apophis' queen Amaunet. He choose the female soldier later and she was taken to Apophis and showed to Amaunet who refused her as a host. Apophis killed her and Teal'c began to regret his actions. He later choose Sha're and she was accepted as a host. He came across SG-1 in the prison and asked Jack O'Neill where he was from after seeing his watch. After other Goa'uld chose hosts for their children from the prison, Apophis ordered the rest killed. O'Neill called to Teal'c stating that he could save the people and Teal'c turned his weapon on O'Neill stating that many had said that before. He then turned around and shot down one of the other guards; he tossed his weapon to O'Neill and said that he was the first one he believed could actually do it. The two took down the other guards and the prisoners escaped; Teal'c said that he had no where to go now so O'Neill told him for helping him out he could come with them. While on the way back to the Stargate they were attacked by a Death glider which was shot down by SG-2 who had heard the commotion. He and the others defended the Stargate as the escaped prisoners went through to Earth. Once home, O'Neill introduced Hammond to Teal'c and recommended that he join SG-1. (SG1: "Children of the Gods")

When it was discovered that Kawalsky had been infested with a Goa'uld, a surgery was planned to remove it but the Goa'uld shed a husk which was removed instead of it, allowing it to deceive them and gain control. The Goa'uld tried to escape through the Stargate but was stopped by Teal'c, O'Neill told Teal'c to hold him still as they shut down the Stargate, which destroyed part of Kawalsky's head and the Goa'uld within; Teal'c offered condolences but O'Neill remarked that his friend had died on the operating table (SG1: "The Enemy Within") When a virus began spreading through the SGC, Teal'c and Daniel Jackson went to the planet the virus had come from to get a blood sample from the people living there. They were attacked by the infected and they kidnapped Jackson, Teal'c went to ask for a blood sample but was denied so he knocked out two guards and took a sample from one of them. After a cure was developed, he went with SG-1 and SG-2 back to the planet to spread the cure. (SG1: "The Broca Divide")

SG-1 went to a planet where they encountered Apophis and during their attempt to capture him, O'Neill, Carter and Jackson were all killed by him. Teal'c told his former master that he will die free but before Apophis could kill him, he and the bodies of the others disappeared. They were revived by the Nox who had also taken Shak'l, one of Teal'c's former trainees and a guard of Apophis. Shak'l escaped, stabbing Teal'c and killing one of the Nox, who the others revived. The Nox sent Apophis and his guards back through the Stargate. (SG1: "The Nox") When O'Neill was affected by nanites that began aging him rapidly, Teal'c worked with Jackson on deciphering some Goa'uld writing concerning the nanites. (SG1: "Brief Candle") While visiting Cimmeria, Teal'c was targeted by a device and as O'Neill went to help him they were transported into a Labyrinth designed to hold Goa'uld and Jaffa where they encountered a Goa'uld within an Unas. They fought the Unas but it proved incredibly strong, so they lured it to Thor's Hammer, a device deigned to kill Goa'uld and Teal'c held it in place long enough for it to die. They had to destroy the device to get Teal'c out safely. (SG1: "Thor's Hammer")

As SG-1 went to rescue Dr. Ernest Littlefield, a man who had went through the Stargate in 1945, Teal'c worked with Carter on trying to dial out the Stargate as the DHD had been damaged and made a system to direct lightning to the Stargate as a power supply. (SG1: "The Torment of Tantalus") Teal'c eventually revealed that he had a wife and son back on Chulak and tried to go through the Stargate to stop his son from being implanted with a symbiote but was stopped by Major General George Hammond who authorized a mission for SG-1 to return to Chulak. They went to Teal'c's home finding it burned down and ran into Bra'tac, Teal'c's former teacher, who led them to where his wife and son were. Teal'c interrupted the implantation of a symbiote into Rya'c, and in the fight the Priest and the symbiote were killed. Drey'auc revealed to Teal'c that Rya'c was sick and needed the symbiote to survive. Unable to get him back to the Stargate, Teal'c gave him his own symbiote so he would live; luckily Daniel and Samantha Carter had recovered another symbiote that was given to Teal'c. (SG1: "Bloodlines")

Teal'c, O'Neill and Carter had their memories altered to make them think that Jackson had been killed but they began exhibiting odd behaviors; when the truth was discovered they returned for Jackson. (SG1: "Fire and Water") When the Goa'uld Hathor began using a chemical to control the men on the base, Teal'c was unaffected and when he helped the female personnel try to take down Hathor, he was locked up. After escaping they had to take O'Neill to Hathor's Sarcophagus to heal him after Hathor converted him into a Jaffa. When Hathor fled Earth, she lost control of the men on the base. (SG1: "Hathor") When visiting Cartago, Teal'c was accused of killing a man's father years ago and put through the Cor-ai, a trial. SG-1 tried to argue that he was a changed man and that him being allowed to live meant he could help others; Teal'c refused to try to escape, stating that he could not give retribution to everyone he had harmed but he could to this man. He was found guilty and was to be executed by his own Staff weapon but when several Jaffa arrived on the planet to take prisoners, Teal'c threw himself in front of several people to save them and was spared from his execution by the man who now believed that Teal'c was a changed man. (SG1: "Cor-ai")

On a mission, Jackson disappeared and search teams had to be called in to locate him. They found him with a staff weapon wound on him and he warned them that the Goa'uld were on their way to Earth; he had experienced an alternate reality where similar events had happened. (SG1: "There But for the Grace of God") Teal'c, the rest of SG-1 and Hammond had to try to convince Senator Robert Kinsey to continue to fund the SGC but Kinsey was unconvinced and the SGC was shut down. (SG1: "Politics") SG-1 went through the Stargate to the coordinates that Jackson had found in the alternate reality and found themselves on an attack ship headed for Earth, commanded by Klorel, the Goa'uld who had taken Skaara as host. Teal'c and O'Neill went to try to get Klorel and save Skaara but were captured. Klorel contacted Apophis who ordered Teal'c's symbiote removed so he would die but Klorel had them stop, potentially being influenced by Skaara. They were later freed by Bra'tac and they worked on disabling the shields around the second ship commanded by Apophis so both ships would be destroyed. They managed to escape aboard two Death gliders. (SG1: "Within the Serpent's Grasp", "The Serpent's Lair")

After Carter was infested with a symbiote, Teal'c told O'Neill to insult the symbiotes ego to get it to reveal its true intentions. When Jackson was taken hostage by an Ashrak who was hunting the symbiote in Carter, Teal'c shot them both with a zat'nik'tel to get Jackson released and then shot the Ashrak again, killing them. (SG1: "In the Line of Duty") When sent to the prison planet Hadante, O'Neill told Teal'c to take point and look scary to help protect the rest of the team. (SG1: "Prisoners") When SG-1 were in a virtual reality, Teal'c's memories were unable to be accessed by the technology. (SG1: "The Gamekeeper") Learning that Cimmeria had been invaded by the Goa'uld, Teal'c wanted to return and help as he was responsible for Thor's Hammer being destroyed. He told the Cimmerians that he would remain on their world to fight until the Goa'uld were gone. A new Thor's Hammer was put on the planet by Thor that made an exception for Teal'c. (SG1: "Thor's Chariot")

When O'Neill was pinned to a wall in the gateroom by spikes from an Orb, he told Teal'c to destroy it but Teal'c's fire was fed into O'Neill. He remained with O'Neill the whole time, protected by his symbiote from the organism the orb released. (SG1: "Message in a Bottle") Bra'tac came to Earth to tell him that Apophis had kidnapped Rya'c. SG-1 went to Chulak and Teal'c learned that Drey'auc had married Fro'tak, Teal'c's old friend, and tried to attack him but was stopped and Bra'tac had him promise not to take revenge on Fro'tak. When they tried to rescue Rya'c he called for the guards and ran off, having been brainwashed by Apophis. When Apophis made an announcement to Chulak with Rya'c, Teal'c thought that Rya'c was sending him a message by incorrectly stating that his mother was from the "Morning Cham'ka Groves", giving them a time and location of when they could retrieve him. When they collected Rya'c, Teal'c believed that he had overcome the brainwashing. Back on Earth it was revealed that Apophis had given Rya'c fake teeth filled with a deadly organism and that he was still brainwashed. Teal'c used a zat'nik'tel to reverse the brainwashing effect on Rya'c and then he took Rya'c and Drey'auc to P3X-797. (SG1: "Family")

Teal'c accompanied Jackson to Abydos and found that Sha're was there, pregnant with Apophis' child. Teal'c discovered that Sha're had access to her symbiote Amaunet's genetic memory and it would be valuable to Earth. When Heru'ur arrived, Teal'c helped hide Jackson and Sha're and later saved Kasuf from interrogation, taking a Horus Guards armor and using it to trick Amaunet into thinking that Heru'ur had taken the child. Still wearing the armor he took Jackson to Heru'ur to attempt to get Heru'ur to leave and when the Stargate activated, Teal'c pushed one of the guards into the unstable vortex and attacked the other guards, allowing Jackson to escape. (SG1: "Secrets")

He was stung by an alien insect which began to alter his DNA and was taken by Colonel Harry Maybourne to a research facility but while en route, he became enraged, attacked the guards and escaped, removing his symbiote so that he would die before he changed. He took refuge in an abandoned building where he was found by a young girl called Ally who shared a chocolate bar with him and helped him move to a hidden area in the roof when Maybourne's men searched the building. As he began to change more, his body started to cocoon itself and Ally asked him if he really wanted what was happening to happen, he gave her the contact information for O'Neill and help arrived. Teal'c made a recovery with an RNA inhibitor and his symbiote returned. He went back to see Ally, giving her a new Water gun to repay her for saving his life. (SG1: "Bane") When SG-1 met the Tok'ra Teal'c told them that he no longer served Apophis, instead fighting the Goa'uld alongside the Tau'ri. (SG1: "The Tok'ra, Part 1") He expressed his admiration for the Tok'ra cause to Grand Councilor Garshaw who similar expressed hers for him turning against Apophis. (SG1: "The Tok'ra, Part 2")

When SG-1 visited Area 51 to check on the second Stargate stored there and met with Colonel Maybourne, Teal'c informed him that in his culture he would be within his rights to dismember Maybourne. (SG1: "Touchstone") On a mission to P3R-272, Teal'c looked into the Repository of Knowledge but it had no effect on him because he was Jaffa, but did work on O'Neill. Later he was Boxing with O'Neill, easily knocking O'Neill down with a single punch, when O'Neill began to use strange words in place of common terms. (SG1: "The Fifth Race") When the SGC dialed into a planet being sucked into a black hole, Teal'c was in the gateroom when they cut the power to try to disconnect the wormhole which caused an overload and Teal'c received a bad burn to his shoulder. A few days later he had healed and carried a Shaped charge into the SGC to be used to disconnect the Stargate. He helped in 'lowering' O'Neill and Colonel Frank Cromwell to the Stargate to place the charge, once it was set, Teal'c helped pull O'Neill far enough away to save his life. (SG1: "A Matter of Time")

After Jackson had switched bodies with Ma'chello, O'Neill and Teal'c went to collect the device used and ended up switching bodies as well. When Teal'c's body developed an illness, he talked O'Neill through performing Kelno'reem to heal his body. O'Neill was successful and when he woke he found Teal'c about to shave O'Neill's head. Eventually they all managed to switch back to their original bodies (SG1: "Holiday") Finding a badly injured Apophis fleeing from the System Lord Sokar, SG-1 captured him with Teal'c carrying him through the Stargate. Teal'c took pleasure in knowing that his and SG-1's actions led to his downfall and he gloated to Apophis, stating that upon his death the people of Chulak would finally be free. When Apophis finally died, Teal'c was silent. (SG1: "Serpent's Song") Teal'c was affected when the Reetou Mother was at the SGC, feeling his symbiote writhe around inside. He later was similary affected by another Reetou that had infiltrated the base to attack. Selmak later told Teal'c to remain vigilant as he was the only one on the base who could sense the Reetou. (SG1: "Show and Tell")

When SG-1 were sent back in time to 1969, Teal'c donned a disguise which included a wig to hide the insignia on his forehead. During their journey across the United States to find the Stargate, Teal'c learned to drive, being taught by Jackson. (SG1: "1969") SG-1 were attacked and Teal'c was badly injured, being unconscious for three weeks and closely treated by Dr. Fraiser. When Hammond wouldn't commit more time and resources to finding the rest of SG-1, Teal'c decided to leave the SGC. (SG1: "Out of Mind") Teal'c returned to Chulak, finding Bra'tac who had been attacked by those fearful that Klorel would return to Chulak to claim Apophis' territory. He put out word that he would be speaking at Bra'tac's house and asked for people to join him to fight against the Goa'uld, beginning to form a resistance. Hammond was hidden among the crowd, with information on the whereabouts of SG-1. Teal'c and Hammond flew in a Needle threader to attack the forces holding SG-1 and rescuing them. (SG1: "Into the Fire")

When searching for the Goa'uld Seth that was hiding on Earth, Teal'c talked about the strange creature associated with Seth that his Setesh Guards armor represented and told a Jaffa joke that caused him to laugh but was met with nothing but silence from the others. When Teal'c heard about Jason Levinson and his son Tom having a strained relationship he asked Jacob Carter if relationships with children on Earth were like that and remarked that loving one's children among Jaffa is not complicated. (SG1: "Seth") When some of the System Lords came to Earth to negotiate with the Asgard for Earth's inclusion in the Protected Planets Treaty, Teal'c encountered Cronus and uttered a revenge phrase at him. He revealed to Daniel Jackson that Cronus had killed Teal'c's father. Teal'c was called to Cronus' quarters at his request but he denied making it, and the two were attacked by an invisible enemy. Teal'c later woke and it was discovered that another System Lord, Nirrti, had been their attacker. (SG1: "Fair Game")

Teal'c fell ill, his symbiote beginning to die and it was discovered that one of Ma'chello's Goa'uld-killing organisms had infected him after leaving Jackson. A cure was developed using the protein marker from Samantha Carter due to her previously being a host to Jolinar. The organisms detected the protein marker and left, even though Teal'c still had a symbiote. (SG1: "Legacy") He joined Jackson in exvacating the temple around the Orban Stargate with the Orbanian Urrone to learn more about their past. He spoke to the Urrone Tomin explaining a lot about the Goa'uld and the Jaffa. (SG1: "Learning Curve") Helping to free an alternate reality Earth from Apophis' control, Teal'c killed his alternate self, stating that their reality was the only one of consequence to him. He posed as his alternate self but was revealed as an alternate and brought before Apophis. The Asgard arrived and removed Apophis and his forces from the planet. (SG1: "Point of View")

SG-1 was captured by the Bounty hunter Aris Boch who was going to sell them to the System Lords but instead made a deal for their help in capturing a Goa'uld in exchange for their freedom. Teal'c joined O'Neill and Jackson to hunt the Goa'uld but learned that it was a Tok'ra. They were captured again by Boch and Teal'c offered to give himself up in exchange for the others as he was worth the most of them all. Boch asked Teal'c why he turned against the Goa'uld and had a change of heart, faking his death and allowing Teal'c to go free. (SG1: "Deadman's Switch") Teal'c was put through some tests to determine if he was possessed by Simon's people, and when the insignia on his head was proven to be impervious to pain, he was put through the water test and upon realizing that he would be submerged, Teal'c put himself into a deep state of Kelno'reem so his symbiote could feed him oxygen to keep him alive. After he rose from the "dead" he and the rest of SG-1 were put up for sacrifice to a "demon", actually a Goa'ulded Unas. They managed to escape and kill the Goa'uld. (SG1: "Demons")

After meeting SG-X, Teal'c realized that they were following the Rules of engagement, a Jaffa training code, and that they served under Apophis. After calling together all the members of SG-X, Teal'c told them that Apophis had sent them and that O'Neill had a message for them. After convincing their leader, Rophiapgisy, that Apophis was not a god by showing him footage of Apophis' death, they displayed the footage for all the members, convincing them to return home. (SG1: "Rules of Engagement") While freeing some Abydonians, Teal'c found Jackson being killed by Amaunet with a Hand device and fired on her to save Jackson, he kneeled down and apologized to Jackson for having to kill Sha're, but Jackson immediately forgave him, telling him it was the right thing to do. (SG1: "Forever in a Day") After meeting the Vyans, Teal'c was asked who had given him his name and Teal'c explained it was from his father, surprising the Vyans who had no memories of their past. (SG1: "Past and Present")

When going on a mission to rescue Jacob from the prison moon Netu, Teal'c piloted the Tel'tak and remained on board to evade Sokar's forces if detected. He communicated with them on the surface and they had a plan to use Ring Transporters to get back to the ship but were captured in their escape attempt. Teal'c was attacked by two Death gliders and had to leave, receiving a message from Apophis, who had gained control of Netu. (SG1: "Jolinar's Memories") Teal'c returned to the Tok'ra on Vorash and the Tok'ra High Council sent Aldwin to go back to Netu with a Tok'ra Chain reaction weapon to destroy Netu which would kill Sokar when he was in orbit. Teal'c wanted to know what they were going to do to rescue those on the moon, but was not given a answer. He accompanied Aldwin and attempted to stop him from launching the weapon but could not. He overpowered Aldwin and enacted their original escape plan, piloting the ship into position between the exploding Netu and Sokar's Ha'tak, saving SG-1, Martouf and Jacob. (SG1: "The Devil You Know")

SG-1 were sedated after a mission and awakens to learn that the SGC had been infiltrated by aliens and he recovers and wakes Carter. When their escape is detected, Teal'c allows Carter to escape as he serves to distract the aliens. Teal'c refuses to tell anyone where Carter has gone to but when the aliens find her location, they begin to experiment on him to find a way to duplicate him. He is freed by O'Neill when his duplicate is killed and he if freed. (SG1: "Foothold") SG-1 goes to Tollana to take part in a Triad to determine whether Skaara or Klorel have a right to Skaara's body and he and Carterfollow some Jaffa serving the Goa'uld representative, witnessing them appearing to tamper with the Tollan Ion cannons. Teal'c sees a Tollan technician using a security code on one of the cannons and later approaches the Nox Lya asking her for help in hiding one of the cannons in case the Goa'uld attack. After Skaara is voted in favor during the Triad, the Goa'uld begin their attack, destroying the Ion cannons but Lya reveals the hidden one and Teal'c activates it using the code he witnessed, saving the Tollan from Goa'uld attack. (SG1: "Pretense")

SG-1 return from a mission with no memory of what happened, they discovered that small devices had been implanted in their brains and allowed them to see and hear the artificial intelligence Urgo that influenced them to try new things and increased their senses. After contacting the person who implanted the devices in them who informed them that them seeing Urgo was an error and to return so they could remove the devices, Carter and Jackson realized that he was in fact alive. SG-1 convinced the creator to save Urgo by implanting him into themselves. They returned to Earth again with no memory of what happened to them. (SG1: "Urgo") When O'Neill becomes trapped on Edora when a meteor hits and buries the Stargate, Carter comes up with a plan to use a Particle beam generator to destroy the hardened Naquadah shell that formed over the Stargate. Teal'c follows, anchoring him to the ceiling of the cavern formed by the Stargate and begins to dig to the surface. With his oxygen supplies dwindling, he hears O'Neill on the radio and he is dug out from the topp. (SG1: "A Hundred Days")

When O'Neill stole some Tollan technology Teal'c was ordered to escort him to the infirmary for a check up and to not let him leave until Hammond said so, Teal'c told O'Neill that he did not understand his sudden change in behavior. It was later revealed to all be a ploy to get O'Neill to infiltrate the Rogue NID who had been stealing technology from their allies. (SG1: "Shades of Grey") When the rest of SG-1 were captured by the People of P2X-416, Teal'c was approached by one of their soldiers and the two fired on each other, with the soldiers weapon blinding Teal'c and his staff weapon killing the soldier but its blast also injured Junior. Teal'c was found by Nyan, the researcher they met when they arrived and he took Teal'c to a cave to hide, stating that Teal'c presence was the greatest evidence that his people's beliefs were wrong. Teal'c was upset that he was suddenly so helpless but Nyan used a healing device to help restore Teal'c's sight. He and Nyan stole a shuttle and helped free the rest of SG-1 and flee through the Stargate. (SG1: "New Ground")

After Bra'tac arrived escaping Apophis' attack on Chulak, he told Teal'c that he was too old to continue to fight the Goa'uld and the two realized that Apophis had been looking for something on Chulak. With Bra'tac's help they managed to find the location of Kheb. Teal'c and Bra'tac tracked some Jaffa who had visited the planet before them. After meeting with a Monk on Kheb, Bra'tac told Teal'c that he realized that he was not ready to die yet and didn't want to give up the fight. (SG1: "Maternal Instinct") When Jackson disappeared after looking at a Crystal skull, Teal'c returned to retrieve the skull to try to learn what happened to him. While meditating, Teal'c sensed something and went out into the hall to investigate but found nothing. He later went with O'Neill and Carter to see Nicholas Ballard, Jackson's grandgfather who had found a similar skull and claimed that it had transported him. It was discovered that Jackson had been sent into a different dimension and had been trying to communicate with them. When they returned the skull, the rest of SG-1 and Ballard also disappeared and Teal'c was ordered to return to Earth. SG-1 later returned. (SG1: "Crystal Skull")

Teal'c went offworld to visit Rya'c but was called back when O'Neill was beamed away by the Asgard. When O'Neill made contact and informed them that he was aboard the Biliskner that had been taken over by the Replicators and he would have to remain on board to destroy the ship. Teal'c and Carter came up as well when a plan was developed to get them off with a Space Shuttle before the ship was destroyed. Teal'c wore a Spacesuit to go outside and plant some explosives on the Deceleration drive to cause the ship to break up as it entered the atmosphere. Before he left the air lock some of the Replicator corrosive spray landed on his suit's air tank which ruptured as he tried to get back inside. He had to push off from the ship to get in to range of a transporter array and was beamed inside. When the ship began moving early, they beamed the Stargate aboard in order to escape. (SG1: "Nemesis")

Teal'c spent a week on P3X-234 with Jack O'Neill and Samantha Carter, during which he grew some facial hair. When it was discovered that a Replicator had survived the crash and had taken over a Russian submarine, Teal'c went to help take care of it. While searching the submarine, Teal'c was partnered with Stevens and they were attacked with Stevens dying and Teal'c being injured. Realizing that they needed to take out the original Replicator to prevent it from surviving the destruction of the submarine, Teal'c went with O'Neill back to destroy it but then became trapped aboard. Luckily Thor beamed them out before the submarine was destroyed. (SG1: "Small Victories") Meeting Alar and his people, Teal'c and O'Neill helped them defend their land using unmanned aerofighters. (SG1: "The Other Side") When the rest of SG-1 were wearing the Atoniek Armbands, Teal'c was boxing with O'Neill who knocked him out with a single punch. When the others went off on an unauthorized mission to destroy a new battleship being built by Apophis, Hammond sent Teal'c after them as it was discovered that their armbands would fail soon. He arrived in time to help rescue them. (SG1: "Upgrades")

Shaun'auc arrived at the SGC through the Stargate and informed them that she had communicated with her symbiote and convinced it to turn against the Goa'uld, wanting to get in contact with the Tok'ra to find it a host. Teal'c did not believe what she said but later tried to communicate with his symbiote, achieving it with the symbiote showing him a vision of his father being killed by Cronus to make Teal'c feel fear. He went to see Shaun'auc and the two rekindled their relationship. After meeting the Tok'ra and getting a host for the symbiote, Tanith, Teal'c declared that he intended to leave the SGC and return to Chulak with Shaun'auc to continue the fight against the Goa'uld by convincing more to turn against them. Shaun'auc's body was returned to Teal'c, and he was told that the new symbiote the Tok'ra obtained was too young and she died. Teal'c later realized that she had been murdered by Tanith and SG-1 returned to Vorash. He attempted to get to Tanith but the Tok'ra stopped him, stating that he would be more useful to pass false information to the Goa'uld. Teal'c went to see him and Tanith offered condolensces about Shaun'auc and hoped that they would meet again some day. Teal'c promised him that they would. (SG1: "Crossroads")

Teal'c was tested to determine if he was a Za'tarc but was not. When O'Neill and Carter were identified as Za'tarcs Teal'c did not believe that they were. Martouf was revealed to be a Za'tarc and tried to kill the President and Teal'c shot him with a Zat'nik'tel to try to stop him. Carter had to fire a second shot to stop him. {Cite|SG1|Divide and Conquer}} On a mission, Jackson was stunned by a man named Malikai and Teal'c and O'Neill attempted to restrain him as he activated a nearby machine. Teal'c found himself back at the SGC being hit in the face by a door. He and O'Neill claimed to be reliving events and they soon found themselves in another loop. In order to stop the machine, Teal'c and O'Neill had to work with photographs of the writings around the machine and remember what they translated to. When Jackson mentioned that it was an opportunity as they could do anything without consequences, Teal'c shoved the airman who opened the door in his face and he and O'Neill hit golf balls through an active Stargate. Once they had translated the writings, they returned to Malikai and convinced him to shut down the machine as it would never work as he wanted, ending the time loops. (SG1: "Window of Opportunity")

When it was revealed that the Russians had recovered the Stargate that was aboard the Biliskner, had started their own program but had lost all contact with their facility, SG-1 was called into help. While exploring the facility, Teal'c and O'Neill found Harry Maybourne frozen in the kitchen's freezer. Taking him out, Maybourne started to breathe again and soon stood up but was unresponsive. He vomited up some water that vaporized and entered Teal'c. The life forms took control of him and took him to the Stargate and activated it. They left his body and returned through to their world. (SG1: "Watergate") After Jackson was kidnapped by an Unas, the rest of SG-1 went after him. Teal'c discovered that there were Goa'uld in the waters around them and O'Neill agreed that he should detain them as there was no way to tell if anyone had been taken over, so Teal'c tied them up with the intention of waiting nearby to see if any of them were Goa'uld and could escape. Hawkins was revealed to be a Goa'uld and Teal'c shot and killed him. As he was freeing the others he noticed that Dr. Robert Rothman had almost escaped as well. He knocked Teal'c down and tried to use his staff weapon to kill the others. (SG1: "The First Ones")

After transporting the Enkarans to a new planet they could survive on, a ship was discovered to be terraforming the planet. Teal'c remained on the planet to get the Enkarans to begin to leave but they refused. The ship was later used to transport the Enkarans to their lost homeworld. (SG1: "Scorched Earth") When SG-1 discovered a hidden slave labor force on P3R-118 and were given Memory stamps and put them to work. Teal'c regained his memories and tried to convince the others but he was carried off. He was given another memory stamp but soon fell ill because he did not complete Kelno'reem. When he checked a bandage on his stomach and discovered the symbiote pouch, he remembered everything and put himself into a deep state of Kelno'reem to heal himself. He helped the rest of SG-1 overpower their captors and get back to Earth. (SG1: "Beneath the Surface")

When a man named Martin Lloyd claimed to know about the Stargate, SG-1 went to investigate and Teal'c went with Carter and Jackson to search his home. Teal'c was later with O'Neill when Martin showed up, O'Neill told Martin that Teal'c's name was 'Murray'. When Martin was proven to be from another planet, Teal'c revealed he was a Jaffa to him. Teal'c went with O'Neill to Martin's planet but found it destroyed and his people wiped out. (SG1: "Point of No Return") Teal'c was the first to test pilot the X-301 and O'Neill joined him for the next test flight but a Recall device inside caused the vessel to go into space. After an attempt to use the ships missiles to redirect it, they damaged the power and life support systems. To conserve oxygen and keep them both alive until rescue, Teal'c said he would go into a deep state of Kelno'reem. He told O'Neill that it was a honor to serve with him and they were brothers. They were luckily rescued by the rest of SG-1 and Jacob Carter. (SG1: "Tangent")

Teal'c joined O'Neill to go fishing and was confused as to there being no fish in his pond and even more confused when O'Neill said that fish had nothing to do with fishing. He answered a call from Jackson who wanted help translating something and told Jackson that if he was needed back at the SGC, he would gladly leave. (SG1: "The Curse") Teal'c went to Chulak to try to convince more Jaffa to join the rebellion and met with Rak'nor who betrayed Teal'c and had him captured. He was tortured by Terok who wanted to break Teal'c and have him state that the Goa'uld were gods. Teal'c resisted, frustraing Terok but his actions began to get to Rak'nor. Heru'ur had Teal'c brought forward and declared as a gift for Apophis but Terok wanted to kill Teal'c first. Rak'nor killed Terok and helped free Teal'c, escaping aboard a Death glider. (SG1: "The Serpent's Venom")

When Hammond retired and the SGC was taken over by Major General Johnathan Bauer, he transferred Teal'c to SG-3 and sent the team on a mission to steal some refined Naquadah from P3S-452. During the mission Major Wade was killed but Bauer was more concerned about whether or not they got the Naquadah. (SG1: "Chain Reaction") He went with SG-1 to P4X-347 where he was affected by the Light matrix hologram but didn't become addicted because of his symbiote. Teal'c returned to Earth while the rest of SG-1 had to incrementally turn down the hologram to alleviate their addicitons. (SG1: "The Light") Teal'c went with O'Neill to M4C-862 to provide security and they encountered an energy creature which began attacking them and the researchers. Teal'c shot O'Neill with a zat, to alter his bodies electrical field to repel the creatures and went to dial the Stargate to repel the creatures from the area. Teal'c followed him and shot near the creatures when they began to attack O'Neill and give him a chance to open the Stargate. (SG1: "Prodigy")

Teal'c joined SG-1 to return to Juna to rescue their synthetic double that had been captured by Cronus. They board Cronus' Ha'tak and Teal'c went to help his duplicate who was with Cronus, he saved his duplicate but started to fight Cronus who tried to crush his symbiote and kill him in the same way he had killed Teal'c's father. Teal'c's duplicate shot and killed Cronus, stating it was for their father before he died from his injuries. (SG1: "Double Jeopardy") When Tanith learned that the Tok'ra knew who he was, Teal'c went to tell him that he was going to be removed from Hebron and left behind on Vorash. Tanith tried to goad him into a fight but Teal'c took pleasure in knowing that his removal would be painful. After Tanith escaped, Teal'c went to look for him but failed. When an Al'kesh made its way to Vorash to pickup Tanith, Teal'c and O'Neill went after him in a death glider, succeeding but were caught in the blast and crashed. They were ambushed by Apophis' Jaffa and Teal'c was shot in the back and killed. Tanith took his body to Apophis as a gift. (SG1: "Exodus")

When trapped in another galaxy, Apophis revived Teal'c and brainwashed him into serving him as his First Prime again. Teal'c pretended to have escaped and went aboard Cronus' Ha'tak and took control for Apophis. He claimed that he had never left the service of Apophis and had been working undercover the entire time. He tracked down Jacob Carter aboard and after the ship began to experience difficulties, Teal'c discovered that Replicators had boarded and taken over. He led some Jaffa to collect Tau'ri weapons stored aboard to fight the Replicators and were ambushed by O'Neill and Carter, who took down the other Jaffa and captured Teal'c. O'Neill told Teal'c that Apophis was dead, but Teal'c refused to believe him. (SG1: "Enemies")

Teal'c pretended to overcome the brainwashing but when Bra'tac arrived he saw through the deception and Teal'c tried to escape. He was stunned and Bra'tac removed Teal'c's symbiote to put him through the Rite of M'al Sharran. In the fever he began to remember his past, how he first met Apophis and how Apophis punished him for loving his father, how he let Va'lar go free but later killed him to hide his deception from Apophis, how Apophis did not immediately know what he had done and how he first became First Prime. As he died, his symbiote was put back but the rite succeeded and Teal'c regained his freedom. (SG1: "Threshold") SG-1 were affected by the Reole Kaiael who made them believe he was a new member of SG-1. When he and O'Neill were trapped offworld, Teal'c returned with the others to Earth for backup and were confused as to why no one else knew who this fifth man was. Teal'c was interviewed by Colonel Frank Simmons who questioned Teal'c's allegiances to which Teal'c replied that if he was still in the service of the Goa'uld, Simmons would most likely have been killed by him for his statements. (SG1: "The Fifth Man")

When Nirrti wanted to make a deal to save Cassandra, who was dying because of a retrovirus she gave to the Hankans, Teal'c argued that keeping Nirrti captive would be of more benefit than making a deal with her. (SG1: "Rite of Passage") When O'Neill and Jackson were captured attempting to rescue the Unas Chaka, Teal'c and Carter provided a distraction to lure the guards away so they could escape. (SG1: "Beast of Burden") When SG-1 became trapped in a Ziggurat with a Russian team looking for a lost Russian team, he and Carter looked for the Goa'uld Marduk, finding that he had left the creature he was in and had taken someone else as a host. They went to check on the others to find out who had been taken over. (SG1: "The Tomb") When it was discovered that the Tollan were being forced by the Goa'uld to build phase shifting weapons, Teal'c and O'Neill discovered these devices. When Teal'c learned that the Goa'uld responsible was Tanith, Teal'c was clearly angered. (SG1: "Between Two Fires")

Teal'c and Jackson discovered a hidden, underground city on Volia and learned that the Volians were once a more advanced civilization until they met the Aschen. (SG1: "2001") Teal'c went undercover on the set of Wormhole X-Treme! at the craft services, making some traditional food from Chulak which no one was interested in eating. He later saw O'Neill and Martin Lloyd being taken away, followed them and helped set them free. (SG1: "Wormhole X-Treme!") SG-1 took part in a training exercise for new SGC recruits, taking on the role of someone who was being controlled by an alien device. (SG1: "Proving Ground") While on P3X-116, SG-1 were attacked by Tanith and Teal'c used a staff cannon to destroy the bridge of an Al'kesh Tanith was on, killing him and finally avenging Shaun'auc. He entered the Stargate as the Al'kesh crashed into and destroyed the Dial Home Device, which caused him to become trapped in the memory buffer of the Stargate. A solution was found that allowed Teal'c to be saved. (SG1: "48 Hours")

When the Tok'ra came up with a plan to wipe out the System Lords, Teal'c spoke to Jackson telling him that he had in the past stated that in circumstances such as this, he would avoid using such action if given a better option. And when Teal'c said he had no plan of his own, Jackson said that he would do it. While waiting for Jackson on Revanna they were attacked by the Goa'uld and became trapped in the Tok'ra base. (SG1: "Summit") They rescued and injured Lt. Elliot who had been taken as a host by Lantash and escaped to the surface, searching for a Tok'ra Sensor device to be able to send a message for rescue. When Jackson and Jacob arrived, they were shot down so their only option was to use the Symbiote poison with Elliot volunteering to be captured to take it to their ships. (SG1: "Last Stand")

Teal'c piloted a repaired Tel'tak to an asteroid headed for Earth and then went with O'Neill to deliver a Naquadah bomb to destroy the asteroid. They returned to the ship to find it had suffered hull breaches and Carter and Jackson has taken refuge in the escape pods. After discovering that the asteroid had a core of Naquadah and the detonation would destroy Earth anyway, he and O'Neill went to disarm the bomb. They used the ships hyperdrive to take the asteroid through Earth and save the planet. (SG1: "Fail Safe") Teal'c went with Bra'tac to listen to Kytano speak and the two were impressed with this presence and ability to recruit other Jaffa. They convinced Hammond to authorize some supplies and weapons for Kytano's forces. He spoke with Rak'nor who asked if Teal'c was going to join with them. After witnessing Kytano walked onto a battlefield and convince enemy Jaffa to surrender and join him, Teal'c became convinced that Kytano was the salvation of the Jaffa. Teal'c was sent on a mission to take out Yu but was captured in the attempt and brought before Yu who let Teal'c go free and told him that Kytano originally worked for him. Teal'c returned and challenged Kytano to Joma secu. Teal'c was badly beaten but after Kytano revealed himself as the Goa'uld Imhotep, Teal'c killed him. (SG1: "The Warrior")

When SG-1 went to Latona to help repair the Sentinel and free the Latonans from the Goa'uld, Teal'c went with the team to find and fix the device and he and Carter had to defend the others from Jaffa attacks. (SG1: "The Sentinel") When Jackson was exposed to a fatal amount of radiation, Teal'c told him that the fight against the Goa'uld would be losing one of its greatest warriors and he would be losing one of his greatest friends. Jacob arrived and used the device as well but was stopped and as Jackson died, he ascended. (SG1: "Meridian") Teal'c said that Jackson had achieved something that many Jaffa sought but he wanted to have Jackson back instead. SG-1 went to help rescue a stranded Asgard scientist and learned that Thor had been captured by Osiris. Teal'c and O'Neill went aboard to try to rescue Thor but were captured. Thor, who had been linked to the ships computer, opened the door to let them out and they disabled the shields to allow them all to be rescued. When SG-1 was leaving the SGC, they felt a slight breeze move through the base, potentially a message from Jackson. (SG1: "Revelations")

Bra'tac came to see Teal'c to tell him that Drey'auc was very ill. He went with Bra'tac but arrived too late and Drey'auc died, Rya'c blamed him for her death. When he went to see Rya'c, he said he was going to avenge his mother and pointed his Staff weapon at Teal'c, who did nothing to stop his son. Rya'c instead attacked him by beating him with the staff but Teal'c continued to do nothing. Rya'c was stopped by Bra'tac who later told Teal'c that Rya'c doubted the strength of his own mind after what Apophis did to him and believed that Teal'c thought the same about him. After they cremated Drey'auc, Teal'c told Rya'c that he didn't need to prove himself as Teal'c never doubted him and the two reconciled. Shaq'rel arrived to warn Bra'tac of an attack on Earth. (SG1: "Redemption, Part 1") After finding the location of Anubis' attack on Earth, Teal'c, Bra'tac and Rya'c went with Shaq'rel to the planet. Teal'c and Bra'tac went to destroy Anubis' weapon but were captured. Teal'c was interrogated and was told that they would find Rya'c. While being escorted away they were rescued by Rya'c in a Death glider, who then destroyed the weapon. They returned to Earth in a ship to report their success. (SG1: "Redemption, Part 2")

When a Ha'tak arrived in orbit, SG-1 went to investigate and Teal'c remained behind with Jonas Quinn. When Jonas questioned why Jack O'Neill would invite him to join SG-1 but not take him on the mission, Teal'c told him that it would take time for O'Neill to gain confidence in his abilities and that he wouldn't have chosen him if he did not believe he would be an effective member. Their ship was boarded by three Jaffa from the Ha'tak who destroyed the systems to allow the Ring Transporter to work and Teal'c took them all down. The Ha'tak crashed into the Pacific Ocean and Teal'c and Jonas boarded again using a DSRV. When they became trapped by flooding, Teal'c suggested they escape using the death gliders and he flew one of them out of the bay, through the water and into the sky. (SG1: "Descent")

SG-1 went to White Rock Research Station in Antarctica after a body was found in the ice and it was discovered that it was an Ancient and she began reviving on her own once thawed out. As the others were infected with the Ancient plague by the Ancient, Teal'c remained immune, and she used her healing ability to cure them all, except for O'Neill as she collapsed before she could get to him. He agreed to be blended with a Tok'ra to save his life. (SG1: "Frozen") SG-1 went to investigate the town of Steveston, Oregon where they discovered that cloned symbiotes had taken over the townspeople and were building a spaceship. (SG1: "Nightwalkers") After learning that O'Neill had disappeared along with Kanan, the Tok'ra he blended with, SG-1 went over Kanan's mission reports to find out where he might have gone. After figuring out where he went they were unable to go after him due to the outpost being too heavily defended. During Kelno'reem, Daniel Jackson gave Teal'c the idea of letting one of the System Lords attack it for them to allow O'Neill a chance to escape. (SG1: "Abyss")

When Kelowna contacted the SGC looking to re-establish diplomatic relations, Jonas was apprehensive about seeing people he knew again and Teal'c told him that when he first returned to Chulak after turning against Apophis, he was seen as a traitor but he had done what he did for his people and in time they understood that. After learning of a resistance on Kelowna, O'Neill wanted to set up a meeting with them, but later learned that they never existed in the first place. (SG1: "Shadow Play") When SG-1 received word that they would be captured by Jaffa in order to make contact with the Tok'ra Khonsu, they allowed themselves to be captured but shortly after discovered that Dr. Jay Felger and Dr. Simon Coombs had come to rescue them. They learned that Khonsu had been exposed and killed but were freed by Felger and Coombs who came after them again once they realized something was wrong. (SG1: "The Other Guys")

He was at the Alpha Site when Tok'ra evacuated there after an attack. When it was discovered that a cloaked Ashrak was attacking them, they went in search of them and Bra'tac was captured and believed killed. Teal'c started to choke the Tok'ra Malek who had been with Bra'tac at the time, wanting to kill him for not saving Bra'tac but was talked out of it. Teal'c sensed the Ashrak a moment before it attacked him and Rak'nor. The Ashrak was made visible but before it could attack, it was killed by Bra'tac who had survived and made his way back. (SG1: "Allegiance") Teal'c worked with Jonas on translating the writings in a temple on Pangar and after they were made aware that the Pangarans were hiding something, they went to a facility where they found a pool of symbiotes. The Pangarans were breeding symbiotes in order to make Tretonin and Teal'c and Jonas discovered that the Goa'uld queen they were using was Egeria, the mother of the Tok'ra. (SG1: "Cure")

When the Prometheus was hijacked, Teal'c and O'Neill took a death glider to board it, helping to take back control. They were attacked by a Goa'uld inhabiting Frank Simmons and O'Neill saved them by getting him sucked out of an airlock. (SG1: "Prometheus") SG-1 was contacted by Thor to aske for help in trapping the Replicators on an Asgard world in a time dilation field. When they arrived they discovered the Replicators had created Human-form Replicators who entered SG-1's minds. The plan worked and the Replicators were trapped. (SG1: "Unnatural Selection")

Teal'c went with Jonas to try to find a missing Area 51 scientist and managed to locate him, with Teal'c having to use force to stop him from running. He interrogated the scientist by not talking at all, just staring at him and the scientist revealed everything he knew. (SG1: "Smoke and Mirrors") When O'Neill was missing, Teal'c noticed how stressed Carter was becoming and later comforted her as she cried about potentially not seeing him again. (SG1: "Paradise Lost") Teal'c joined Bra'tac at a meeting on Kresh'ta with the leaders of the rebel Jaffa and they were attacked with the two being the only survivors. Everyone except Teal'c had their symbiotes removed so Teal'c began sharing Junior with Bra'tac. For three days he switched it between them, keeping them both alive but never healed enough to move. He experienced a strange dream where he was human and a fire fighter on Earth. Daniel Jackson entered this dream to tell him not to give up hope. When they were rescued, Teal'c was again visited by Jackson who told him he would be fine. (SG1: "The Changeling")

When the Prometheus was trapped on another planet, Teal'c and Jonas met a man who helped them locate and then dig up the Stargate. (SG1: "Memento") When Jonas began having visions of the future, Teal'c went with O'Neill to help free the people of P4S-237 from the Goa'uld Mot. They were all captured by Mot who wanted their IDCs and when they were freed, they made their way to the Stargate. Once there they were ambushed but managed to fight them off. (SG1: "Prophecy") Teal'c joined the Abydonians in defending Abydos from Anubis' forces but they were overwhelmed and had to retreat back to the pyramid. As Skaara was dying from a wound, Teal'c translated what he was saying. They watched as Skaara ascended. (SG1: "Full Circle")

After Daniel Jackson returned to human form, he asked Teal'c to tell him more about Anubis. A plan was developed to bring Anubis to Vis Uban to destroy his new weapon so the System Lords could destroy his ship and defeat him. Teal'c went to Yu's homeworld to get Yu to arrange for a fleet. While on their way to the attack, Yu ordered the fleet elsewhere and Teal'c objected so Oshu, Yu's First Prime, had him locked up. (SG1: "Fallen") Oshu came to see Teal'c and told him that Yu was suffering from old age and kept forgetting things and making mistakes. Teal'c convinced him to help defeat Anubis or else Yu might make a mistake that kills them all and he would be remembered as a fool. They contacted Ba'al and asked him to assume command of the System Lord fleet and he then took a Stargate to Langara to fill SG-1 in on the plan. They were captured by Anubis' forces but managed to escape. Jonas was welcomed back by his people and Teal'c told him that he had the heart of a warrior and to continue to fight well. (SG1: "Homecoming") When Jack O'Neill regressed in age 30 years overnight and recalled seeing an Asgard, Jackson and Teal'c looked for similar events and went and interviewed people who had similar experiences (but never aged backwards). They discovered that an Asgard was responsible and they created a plan to capture them. They boarded a [Loki's Spaceship|ship]] in orbit and captured Loki. (SG1: "Fragile Balance")

Teal'c began to doubt his strength and abilities believing himself to be weak because of the Tretonin. Coming back from a mission he was shot through his empty symbiote pouch and his Spine was damaged. Going through a longer recovery than normal, Teal'c continued to doubt himself so when Dr. Janet Fraiser cleared him for duty he said he was not ready. After learning that Bra'tac and Rya'c had been captured, Teal'c went to rescue him with SG-1 SG-2, SG-3 and Rak'nor. He and Rak'nor went into the work camp and he gave a shot of Tretonin to Bra'tac before they were captured and beaten. Teal'c told Rya'c that he couldn't fight as he was not the Jaffa he once was and Bra'tac scolded him for not remembering that his strength came from his heart and his mind, not from a symbiote and Teal'c began to believe in himself again. When Rya'c was going to be executed, Teal'c offered to take his position. SG teams attacked the camp and Teal'c fought with the Jaffa in charge but was easily beaten back. When Rya'c tried to help but was also thrown off, Teal'c was renewed and beat the Jaffa down before snapping his neck. They liberated the camp and afterwards Teal'c decided to continue a meditation similar to Kelno'reem as it made him feel better. (SG1: "Orpheus")

After finding a dome filled with people on a toxic world, O'Neill temporarily traded his Hazmat suit to a boy called Nevin in exchange for showing them his village. He and O'Neill stayed with Nevin and his father that night. He and O'Neill discovered bodies of the people outside the dome, having walked out there to die. When they returned the people tried to get them to wear nodes for the Link, a neural interface, so the Link could control them. The people's memories were altered using the Link to stop them an SG-1 helped relocate the people to another world. (SG1: "Revisions") While examining a crashed spaceship with numerous people in stasis, SG-1 was rendered unconscious. Teal'c woke up and found the others still out, and discovered that Jackson had several consciousnesses of the people aboard put into his mind. He later returned with Carter and discovered Pharrin, a passenger who was awake and also had several consciousnesses in his mind. (SG1: "Lifeboat")

SG-1 went to help with a missing person and found evidence of Unas on the planet. He returned to help Jackson and Chaka find the local Unas to negotiate and was hesitant to allow Jackson and Chaka to go off on their own. (SG1: "Enemy Mine") Carter joined Warrick Finn to take part in the Loop of Kon Garat, a race in the Hebridan System. He and Eamon Finn found evidence of sabotage to the ships in the race and went to investigate Eamon's supervisor, who caught them in the act, claiming that the Serrakin were trying to take over Hebridan. They were rescued by O'Neill and Jackson who alerted security. (SG1: "Space Race") He and O'Neill to P3C-249 to meet with rebel Jaffa and were attacked by Goa'uld forces after the Stargate stopped working. They commandeered an Al'kesh and took it to P5S-117 to rescue Carter and Dr. Jay Felger. (SG1: "Avenger 2.0")

When they met the Hak'tyl resistance and their leader Ishta, Teal'c went to convince her to try Tretonin to remove their reliance on symbiotes. Ishta was angered that he was trying to tell her what to do and challenged him to a fight where she realized he had no symbiote and was on Tretonin himself. Teal'c and Jackson remained on Hak'tyl as volunteers went to go on Tretonin. He and Ishta spoke at length and the two developed a romantic relationship. When Ishta was challenged to Joma secu by Neith, Teal'c told her that she also had the right to grant mercy. She left with Neith and others to procure a symbiote and ordered the others to keep Teal'c and Jackson there. Teal'c learned where Ishta had gone and went to stop her and convinced her to get Neith onto Tretonin instead of taking another symbiote when she was injured. As she left the SGC she told Teal'c she hoped it would not be too long before they saw each other again and they kissed. (SG1: "Birthright")

He and Bra'tac went to a meeting between Ramius and Tilgath and found a massacre. They were attacked by a Kull Warrior who resisted their attacks but soon collapsed in front of them. They later learned it had a Heart attack and was completely unaffected by their attacks. They needed to capture a living Kull to interrogate it so they went to Ramius' homeworld to capture one that would go after him. Their attacks were again repelled again and they ended up being captured by Ramius' Jaffa. After the Kull killed Ramius they were freed and Teal'c and Carter used a cargo ship to capture the warrior. Teal'c and Bra'tac tried to interrogate the Warrior but he didn't speak so they used a Memory recall device to learn where it had come from. (SG1: "Evolution, Part 1") They went to the location and learned how Anubis was making them and temporarily stopped his ability to make more of them. (SG1: "Evolution, Part 2")

When Carter was missing with the Prometheus, O'Neill was obviously upset and Teal'c came to him to tell him that when he and Harry Maybourne were missing, Carter was similarly upset at the prospect of not seeing him again. (SG1: "Grace") When Carter joined Jonas in using a mining vehicle to save Langara from destruction, Teal'c joined them when they were joined by a Goa'uld who had inhabited a scientist that had worked on the vehicle. (SG1: "Fallout") After Jackson mentioned how his dreams felt directed and he had no control, Teal'c mentioned that the Goa'uld had the ability to control dreams. A trap was set to capture Osiris who was using Jackson's dreams to try to find the location of the Lost City. (SG1: "Chimera")

When the Alpha Site was attacked and Carter was missing, SG-1 went to find her and O'Neill and Teal'c tracked her down as she was being pursued by a Kull Warrior. (SG1: "Death Knell") When a documentary film crew came to the SGC, Teal'c was interviewed but he said very few words. After SG-13 had been attacked offworld, SG-1 went to help. (SG1: "Heroes, Part 1") During the rescue mission, Dr. Fraiser was killed. Carter was asked to speak at her memorial but she couldn't come up with anything to say, so Teal'c wrote a speech for her, which listed people that Fraiser had saved. (SG1: "Heroes, Part 2") After a Rogue NID operation involving a cloned human-Goa'uld hybrid, a bomb set by the Goa'uld was found and Teal'c worked with Dr. Bill Lee to try to disarm it. They eventually received the deactivation code and disabled it. (SG1: "Resurrection")

Lost City

After discovering another Repository of Knowledge SG-1 went to try to figure out how to extract it but they were attacked by Anubis and Jack O'Neill used it to take the knowledge into his mind again. Teal'c and Daniel Jackson went to see O'Neill at his home where Samantha Carter was at and they had some drinks and bonded before Major General George Hammond arrived to tell them he was being replaced. After learning that Anubis was preparing a fleet to attack Earth, Teal'c went with Bra'tac to Chulak to gather ships to help fight back. (SG1: "Lost City, Part 1") Teal'c and Bra'tac met Ronan who had a ship which he offered to SG-1 for their mission to the planet to find the Lost City. They learned that the Lost City was on Earth and called "Atlantis" and O'Neill removed a Zero Point Module from the outpost. They returned to Earth, avoided Anubis' fleet and found an outpost under the ice of Antarctica where O'Neill installed the ZPM and used the Drone weapons to destroy Anubis' fleet. O'Neill began to die because of the Ancient knowledge and he told them to put him into a nearby stasis pod which prevented his death. (SG1: "Lost City, Part 2")

When the Asgard were not responding to contact attempts, Teal'c and Carter used the ship that O'Neill modified to get to Hala. When they arrived they found that Hala's Star had become a black hole and their ship began being ripped apart but they were saved by Thor. He informed them that the black hole had been created to destroy the Replicators but some of them had survived. The Replicators invaded Thor's ship and transported Carter to their ship. Teal'c went with Thor back to Earth to collect Jackson and O'Neill. Thor connected O'Neill's mind to the computer and he created a weapon to use against the Replicators. Thor transported a Human-form Replicator aboard but when it became active, Teal'c attacked it only to be thrown across the room before O'Neill used the weapon to destroy it. They discovered that Carter was alive and went to rescue her. (SG1: "New Order, Part 2")

Teal'c began the process of obtaining an apartment off the base. After a Russian officer came to the SGC and collapsed, he told Teal'c that he didn't remmeber much from the last few days except fragments and Teal'c later remarked it sounded like he was recalling memories from being controlled by a symbiote. It was later discovered that Anubis was at the SGC and controlling personnel. (SG1: "Lockdown") SG-1 went to locate one of Anubis' hidden bases and become trapped inside for a few days before making their way out. (SG1: "Zero Hour") After Jackson went missing on Tegalus after a civil war, Carter and Teal'c met with Commander Soren, the new leader, to try to get him to help them locate Jackson. She later took part in an assault on the planet to retake it from the rebels and rescue Jackson. (SG1: "Icon")

Teal'c tested a training simulation in a Virtual reality chair and found it to be too easy. After allowing the chair to learn from Teal'c and change the scenario, Teal'c became trapped and every time he was killed in the simulation, the chair initiated a pain response in Teal'c. As Teal'c continued to be beaten again and again, he eventually started to slow down and stopped taking part as his body was drained of adrenaline. When Jackson entered the simulation to help him, Teal'c killed him because the simulation Jackson had been a Goa'uld in the past. Jackson eventually convinced him that he was real and Teal'c claimed that it was not possible to beat the simulation. Jackson helped Teal'c finish the simulation and they both got out. (SG1: "Avatar")

Teal'c began becoming friends with his neighbors, including Krista James, who got Teal'c to help with her plumbing. Teal'c involved himself in several incidents, including stopping a few crimes, and he was told that it drew a lot of attention to him. After meeting Krista's boyfriend, Doug McNair, he disliked the man and later Krista told him that she had ended things with him. He began training her in Lok'nel and one day she told him that she wouldn't be training with him anymore as she had got back together with Doug. Teal'c noticed an injury to her wrist and when Doug came out he told him that if he ever hurt her again, he would kill Doug. He found Krista outside his door and she told him that she had left Doug and wanted to get away with Teal'c. They went to a hotel where they ended up having sex but she was gone the next morning. He was arrested for Doug's murder but they uncovered that The Trust had framed Teal'c and after evidence was found clearing his name, he decided to move back to the SGC to protect others from being caught in the same situation. (SG1: "Affinity")

He went to see Rya'c and learned that he was engaged to be married to Kar'yn and was upset that he had not been consulted, not wanting Rya'c to have to make the same choices he had to make between his family and his people. When Ishta arrived and asked for help as the location of the Hak'tyl resistance had been revealed, they came to the SGC and Teal'c later went with her to meet with rebel Jaffa in Moloc's forces but they were ambushed. He, Ishta and Aron escaped but Ishta had left her Tretonin behind and Teal'c had accidentally broken his. During the night Ishta was captured and Teal'c, unable to trust Aron, zatted him. He went after a downed UAV that had a supply of Tretonin in it and was rescued from an attack by Aron. Teal'c had Aron provide a laser targeting for missiles while he went and rescued Ishta. He came around to Rya'c being married and after the ceremony he hugged the pair. (SG1: "Sacrifices")

He was visiting rebel Jaffa when he was given a 'do not proceed' message to his IDC. He went to the Alpha Site and learned that others had received the same message but no other communication. He returned to the rebel Jaffa to get a ship where he ran into M'zel and they found all the rebel Jaffa dead. After learning of similar attacks using Symbiote poison, he and M'zel went to see the Tok'ra Zarin, allowing themselves to be captured and brought before her. An attack on the planet, killed everyone except Teal'c. He dialed into Earth and tried to make contact, speaking with Jackson who told him to come through and help. He arrived on Osiris' Al'kesh in orbit of Earth where the Stargate was located and helped rescue Jackson and Carter. (SG1: "Endgame")

When Replicator Carter was brought to the Alpha Site, Teal'c was apprehensive about keeping her around and was later told by O'Neill to take her out if anything happened. He flew an F-302 to deploy a Replicator disruptor satellite in orbit to stop Fifth who was coming to the planet. Replicator Carter had deceived Fifth and them and came up with a protection for the disruptor, destroying Fifth and then attempting to escape the base. Teal'c held onto her as she was leaving and she severed her arm to escape. (SG1: "Gemini") While trying to convince Harry Maybourne to return to Earth to keep him safe from the Goa'uld Ares who was coming to the world he was living on, Teal'c and Jackson were captured by Trelak, Ares' First Prime. He told Teal'c that he would suffer slowly and Teal'c told him he would kill him quickly. When a fight broke out, Teal'c fought with Trelak and stabbed him and killed him with his own knife. (SG1: "It's Good To Be King") After Osiris' Al'kesh was believed to be back in orbit of Earth, Teal'c went aboard the Prometheus in the event they had to fight. (SG1: "Full Alert")

The Replicators began attacking the Goa'uld and thousands of rebel Jaffa began pledging themselves back to their former gods, believing the Replicators a plague sent to punish them. Teal'c told Bra'tac that their only option to end Goa'uld domination was to capture Dakara and the temple there. They met with rebel Jaffa leaders and convinced them to take part in the plan, managing to take the planet easily. (SG1: "Reckoning, Part 1") Ba'al brought his fleet to the planet to try to take it back and Teal'c helped lead the defense against them but when the Replicators arrived, he had the rebel fleet target them instead. After the weapon on Dakara was used to stop the Replicators, Teal'c contacted Ba'al to let him know he was surrounded by free Jaffa before his men were taken down. Ba'al escaped before he could be killed but his fleeing was enough to help convince other Jaffa that he was not a god. (SG1: "Reckoning, Part 2")

Teal'c and Bra'tac were proclaimed blood-kin to all Jaffa on Dakara and the two were invited to join the Jaffa High Council. He went with a Jaffa force to Tartarus to wipe out the last of Anubis' forces but they were not there and had instead gone to Dakara to take the weapon. Luckily, Anubis' forces were stopped and the Jaffa agreed to destroy the weapon. (SG1: "Threads") Teal'c left SG-1 and the SGC, taking on a role with the Free Jaffa Nation. Cameron Mitchell came to see him about rejoining SG-1 but he declined. He came to Earth after Jackson fell ill, informing them that the Kor mak bracelet Jackson had put on him was responsible. Teal'c joined Mitchell, Jackson and Vala Mal Doran in finding an Ancient treasure on Earth. After finding a cavern, he and Mitchell became trapped in a test room with a lowering ceiling. Teal'c attempted to hold the ceiling up as Mitchell worked on the test. (SG1: "Avalon, Part 1")

The test was solved and they were freed and after Mitchell fought a holographic Knight, they located the treasure. Teal'c returned to Dakara where Rak'nor informed him that Gerak had won majority vote and was now leader of the council. (SG1: "Avalon, Part 2") He set up a meeting between Gerak and Major General Hank Landry, joining in on the talks and meeting with a Prior that was brought to Earth. After the Prior was detained but burned himself to death rather than be taken, he and Mitchell carried an Ancient Long-range communication device to the Stargate and tossed it into the Unstable vortex to destroy it, disconnecting Jackson and Vala from it. (SG1: "Origin") Teal'c came to Earth to speak on behalf of the SGC at a hearing with the Senate Appropriations Committee about funding for the SGC. He later joined Mitchell, Jackson and Vala in stealing a Tel'tak from the Lucian Alliance. He mentioned to Mitchell that his help was not him expressing his desire to rejoin SG-1. (SG1: "The Ties That Bind")

He joined Mitchell, Jackson and Vala again on P8X-412 to help convince the people not to join the Ori and was against Vala posing as the Goa'uld Qetesh as a means of doing this. (SG1: "The Powers That Be") He joined the others in meeting with Nerus to learn that the Ori were building a beachhead. He tried to contact Gerak for additional help but they got no reply. He joined the others in going to Kallana to try to stop it. (SG1: "Beachhead") When a dead Jaffa was found on Earth, Teal'c went to Dakara to speak with Gerak and learn why the Jaffa was there. Gerak denied knowing anything but Ka'lel spoke to Teal'c to inform him that Ba'al was hiding on Earth and Gerak had sent men to find him. Teal'c officially rejoined SG-1 at this time. Teal'c later confronted Gerak about his actions in front of the council but they informed him that they had been told by Gerak what he had been doing. After Ba'al appeared to escape, Teal'c tried to get the council to turn against Gerak but he soon arrived with Ba'al and executed him in front of the council. Teal'c returned to Earth to learn that the Ba'al he had seen was a clone but Teal'c declined to return to Dakara to inform the council at the time. (SG1: "Ex Deus Machina")

While looking for the Sodan, SG-1 was attacked and Mitchell was captured. They found an injured Sodan warrior named Volnek and Teal'c tried to convince him to work with the Free Jaffa Nation but he refused. He and Jackson worked to convince Volnek that the Ori were not gods and brought a witness to the Prior's destruction to try to convince him. (SG1: "Babylon") Teal'c returned to Dakara to hear that Gerak was suggested accepting Origin as the religion of the Jaffa. He and Bra'tac went to Chulak to gather support to oppose Gerak and his motion and when Gerak came to see them, Teal'c had to be held back by Bra'tac. He returned to the council and was shocked when Gerak arrived, now converted into a Prior. (SG1: "The Fourth Horseman, Part 1") He and Bra'tac gathered a force at Chulak, to force Gerak to either attack them or stop. Teal'c invited Gerak down to Chulak and took him to the site of the Battle of Tazek'sur, where Gerak's father had died in the name of the Goa'uld. He told Gerak that if he was going to kill Jaffa, he should start with Teal'c. He convinced Gerak to come to Earth and use his new abilities to cure the PRIOR2 virus. (SG1: "The Fourth Horseman, Part 2")

When Mitchell was accused of a murder on Galar, Teal'c and Jackson worked on going through evidence to find the actual murderer. (SG1: "Collateral Damage") When alternate reality SG-1's began arriving at the SGC, Teal'c and Jackson were introduced to one that had an alternate Dr. Janet Fraiser on it. Teal'c joined a mission to stop more teams from arriving, going with the first alternate SG-1 who soon captured them and commandeered the Prometheus. SG-1 escaped and retook the ship. (SG1: "Ripple Effect") When Ka'lel voiced in opposition of democracy for the Free Jaffa Nation and then Maz'rai followed suit, Teal'c and Bra'tac began to investigate and Teal'c was kidnapped by Ba'al who told Teal'c he wanted to help the Jaffa organize and fight against the Ori. Teal'c was tortured and underwent brainwashing, but was able to resist and pretended that it had worked. Bra'tac was brought before him and Ba'al ordered him to eecute his mentor. Mitchell arrived to provide a distraction and Teal'c killed the Ba'al clone. After the Jaffa voted in favor of democracy, Teal'c thanked Mitchell for his actions which helped secure their victory. (SG1: "Stronghold")

When the Rand Protectorate were provided plans for an Ori Satellite weapon, Teal'c went with SG-1 aboard the Prometheus to destroy it and he joined Mitchell in an F-302 for an attack on it, but it was protected and destroyed the Prometheus. (SG1: "Ethon") When Mitchell and Carter had disappeared on the base, the SGC received a communication from the Sodan asking for help and Teal'c went with SG-12 to check on them. They found everyone except Haikon dead and learned that they had been attacked by Volnek who had been affected by a Prior. Teal'c went after him using a Sodan Cloaking device but was unable to stop him as he almost instantly was revived after being shot. After SG-3 arrived, a plan was developed to lead Volnek between claymores to destroy his body and when Teal'c used the cloaking device he was able to see Mitchell who was out of phase. Mitchell helped lead Volnek to the claymores as he couldn't be harmed but when Mitchell shifted back, Teal'c had to step in and rescue him. (SG1: "Arthur's Mantle")

After another Supergate was discovered, Teal'c took a ship to find Netan, the leader of the Lucian Alliance, and requested an alliance against the Ori who were about the send warships. He managed to convince Netan to come with three ships to join in the defense. (SG1: "Camelot") The Ori ships easily defeated and destroyed most of the ships against them, but the ship Teal'c was on survived, but he was taken prisoner by Netan who blamed him for the loss and claimed it was part of his plan. He tortured Teal'c but was beamed back to the Odyssey before the ship was destroyed. Bra'tac arrived and SG-1 joined him to go to Chulak, where the Ori Warships had gone to. Unable to destroy the Ori Warships, Bra'tac set their ship on a collision course and Teal'c didn't appear to have a problem with dying in defense of Chulak. Luckily they were beamed off before the ship struck the warships shields, causing no damage. (SG1: "Flesh and Blood")

SG-1 found Vagonbrei and were infected by a parasite that would kill them if they fell asleep. Teal'c and Mitchell entered some caves to try to find information about Morgan Le Fay and found a lizard that was immune to the parasite so they went to capture it. Awake for so long, Mitchell was unable to get back up and Teal'c had to run out with the lizard where he was found by a medical team. (SG1: "Morpheus") The rest of SG-1 and Vala headed to Atlantis to both look for information in the Atlantis Database as well as dial into the Supergate to block it. Teal'c took a cargo ship with a Stargate to the Supergate and waited for the incoming wormhole from the Pegasus galaxy. He reported that their first two attempts failed and had to cloak the ship and the Stargate when an Ori Warship arrived. A message was relayed to him from Atlantis via the SGC to warn the Odyssey that a Hive ship was approaching them. Teal'c kept the Stargate hidden and lured the warship in front of it, so the energy blast hit its shields. The Stargate jumped to the Supergate which opened and ripped through the warship, destroying it. (SG1: "The Pegasus Project")

When Ba'al arrived on Earth wanting help to stop his clones that had turned against him in exchange for the location of Merlin's weapon, SG teams began capturing the clones hoping to get the real Ba'al. (SG1: "Insiders") Teal'c went offworld with Vala and SG-3 to hunt down a creature that had attacked some people. After discovering that they were the cause of the creature because of using Sodan Cloaking devices, Teal'c helped Carter test the devices and they found an interdimensional creature was coming through when they were used. He joined SG-1 to go to Silver Creek County where one of the creatures had been found, created when a Trust Operative using a cloaking device to spy on Landry and Mitchell. (SG1: "Uninvited")

SG-1 was called on to help Martin Lloyd with the Wormhole X-Treme! movie script and he pitched an idea to Lloyd about himself as a private investigator. He later joined SG-1, Landry and O'Neill to go to P2C-106 to take part in a celebration for Mitchell's 200th trip through the Stargate. (SG1: "200") After the inhabitants of a planet were wiped out, SG-1 went to take control of the Ori Warship on the surface. He and Mitchell were found by Jaffa sent to take the ship and were captured. They later escaped and convinced the Jaffa to work with them to take the ship from whoever was in control. When the ship arrived in orbit of Dakara, Teal'c told Mitchell that they had to stop it but their plan failed. (SG1: "Counterstrike")

When Vala was kidnapped by the Trust, an operative was captured but refused to give up any information. Teal'c whispered something to the man and he was so scared he gave up everything. (SG1: "Memento Mori") After the Odyssey had been taken by the Lucian Alliance, Teal'c transported Mitchell to go undercover within the Alliance and while waiting to get him out, he was found and captured. Mitchell, who had used the Reole chemical on Netan to make him think he was Kefflin, one of his Seconds, took over the interrogation and faked getting information from Teal'c. (SG1: "Company of Thieves") When SG-1 found a possible location of the Sangraal, they went in search of it. After a series of tests they came face-to-face with a Dragon. (SG1: "The Quest, Part 1") After it resisted their weapons fire, Teal'c threw some C-4 at it which it ate, and when it exploded it had no effect. Luckily it was defeated when the Guardian's name was spoken: Ganos Lal. (SG1: "The Quest, Part 2")

Carter tested out using the Mantle of Arthur to hide a village on P9C-882 that had been targeted by Ori forces but it failed and the Ori forces invaded. Teal'c evaded captured but was soon given up by Matar who wanted the village to be spared. A Prior attempted to get Teal'c to reveal how a building in the village had disappeared, but Teal'c resisted his attempts and soon passed out. Matar and some others came and said they were going to sacrifice Teal'c to try to save their village from destruction but were talked out of it. Luckily the Mantle was used to hide the village in time and save it. (SG1: "Line in the Sand") When Carter disappeared testing out the Mantle, Teal'c, Mitchell and Vala took turns speaking to an empty room, unaware she had been sent to an Alternate Reality. (SG1: "The Road Not Taken")

Finding Jackson had been turned into a Prior by Adria, SG-1 captured him and he revealed he had tricked Adria into doing it as it was part of his plan to finish the Sangraal and send it to destroy the Ori. Teal'c interrogated him and afterwards said he believed what Jackson was saying. Unable to believe him, SG-1 got information from him to try to complete his plan. They were found by Adria but Jackson, who had commandeered the Odyssey, arrived and managed to knock her down. The Sangraal was sent to the Ori galaxy but hours later more Ori Warships arrived. (SG1: "The Shroud") After destroying a Lucian Alliance Kassa shipment, SG-1 had bounties put on them. Teal'c went to see Cha'ra and was attacked, but he survived so a trap was set to capture the attacker. Teal'c joined Jackson and Carter to provide assistance to Mitchell who had called for help and used a hologram to trick the bounty hunter after Mitchell and capture him. (SG1: "Bounty")

Teal'c joined Bra'tac for a summit on Dar Eshkalon. He noticed a strange man leaving the area before an explosion destroyed most of the camp. He was unconscious for two weeks before spending more days recovering. He learned that Arkad was responsible for the attack and asked Landry to take him out but Landry refused. Teal'c left the SGC, intending to track down Arkad and kill him. Finding a man who sold the explosives used, he found the man who had placed the bomb, removed his symbiote and planted a bomb inside him. Learning the location of Arkad he went to the planet and had to take down members of SG-3 and Mitchell when they tried to stop him. He was injured entering the pyramid and brough to Arkad who beat Teal'c down. Arkad stabbed Teal' through the stomach and then gloated about killing Teal'c's mother. Teal'c kicked him back and he was impaled on a rack. Teal'c drove a sword through Arkad's body. He later told Bra'tac that he had already killed the person who murdered his mother but now knew Arkad had ordered it. (SG1: "Talion")

Jacek, Vala's father came to Earth and offered information on Arkad's planned attack on Earth in exchange for sanctuary. It was discovered he made a deal with Arkad's Jaffa to sell their Naquadah and SG-1 helped track them down. Jacek gave Teal'c some tickets which turned out to be for The Vagina Monologues, much to Teal'c's embarrassment. (SG1: "Family Ties") When a Ba'al clone was implanted in Adria and was captured, Teal'c and Mitchell interrogate him. (SG1: "Dominion") SG-1 went to Orilla where the Asgard gave them all their technology and knowledge as they were dying and planned to end their existence at once. Chase by Ori Warships, Carter came up with an idea to put the Odyssey in a Time dilation field to come up with a way to save them. Years began to pass for them, with the new Asgard Computer core able to provide food and supplies, including Tretonin for Teal'c. Teal'c physically did not age much over the 50 years. Carter came up with a way to reverse time within the field and a way to quickly disconnect the computer core to prevent the Ori Warships from following them and Teal'c volunteered to be the one to remain older, stating that he was the obvious choice. He prevented them from being put into the field and the Odyssey escaped. Back at the SGC Teal'c was happy to return to his work, stating that good things come to those who wait. (SG1: "Unending")

Ark of Truth

SG-1 began searching for the Ark of Truth on Dakara but were soon captured by Ori forces led by Tomin. When Mitchell killed the Prior, Tomin had his forces stand down and he was taken back to Earth. SG-1 headed to the Ori galaxy to look for the Ark and Teal'c spoke to Tomin on the Odyssey, telling him that nothing he has done since turning against the Goa'uld will make up for what he did while serving them. He told Tomin to accept that he will not forgive himself for the lives he took but his life didn't need to end. They made their way to Celestis and they located the Ark but when bringing it out, Teal'c was shot in the back by Ori forces. He awoke hours later in great pain with a mortal wound but managed to stand and begin to make his way to the City of the Gods. He trekked over mountains and made it to the Plains of Celestis but soon collapsed from his injury. Laying there dying, he was visited by the ascended being Ganos Lal, who healed his injuries. He made his way into the city and rescued Jackson and the two found Vala Mal Doran and Tomin. Locating the Ark, the Doci and Adria arrived. Jackson activated the Ark and Teal'c shot out the leg of the table it was on so it fell open and the Doci was exposed, which spread from him to the other Priors. With the Ori forces standing down they returned to Earth and used the Ark again on a Prior so it spread to the other Priors in the Milky Way. (Stargate: The Ark of Truth)

When Samantha Carter was packing to leave to take command of the Atlantis expedition, Teal'c came to see her and told her that Atlantis now has need of her and that SG-1 will not be far away. (SGA: "Reunion") Carter invited Teal'c to Atlantis to coach Ronon Dex on how to pass his evaluation with the International Oversight Advisory. Ronon was stand-offish and said he would stay calm during the interview, so Teal'c asked him about Sateda and insinuated that Ronon's actions led to the attack on Sateda, causing Ronon to draw his weapon. Teal'c mentioned that James Coolidge of the IOA could ask such questions of him. John Sheppard suggested they go to the gym to show each other their moves. The two began to fight while Atlantis expedition members placed bets. After an hour, Carter broke them up. They went to the Midway Space Station for the 24-hour quarantine when the Wraith invaded the station. As they made their way to Earth, Teal'c and Ronon followed to stop them. After Coolidge insisted on calling for help, Teal'c and Ronon were going to take them on themselves. Teal'c was briefly fed on before Ronon killed the Wraith. Ronon passed his evaulation and told Teal'c that he had a good teacher. (SGA: "Midway") When the final Ba'al clone is captured, SG-1 and Jack O'Neill go to the Tok'ra homeworld to witness the extraction ceremony. Afterwards they are invited out to lunch by O'Neill. (Stargate: Continuum)

Skills and Abilities

Alternate Realities

  • In an alternate reality visited by Daniel Jackson, Teal'c never met SG-1 and remained First Prime of Apophis. He led the attack on Earth and into the SGA. He heard that the SGA had sent a nuclear bomb to Chulak and his family was dead. Jack O'Neill approached him showing him footage from Jackson's reality of a Teal'c who had turned against the Goa'uld. He may have believed O'Neill but killed him as revenge for the death of his family. He found Jackson but hesitated shooting him until the last second before he got through the Stargate. He was killed when the bases self destruct detonated. (SG1: "There But for the Grace of God")
  • In an alternate reality, Teal'c never turned against Apophis and led an attack on Earth. He was killed by our realities Teal'c when he was confronted and refused to turn against Apophis. (SG1: "Point of View")
  • In an alternate reality, Teal'c joined SG-1 to go to an alternate reality in order to steal a Zero Point Module. He and the team later returned empty-handed. (SG1: "Ripple Effect")
  • In an alternate reality visited by Carter, Teal'c had left to join the Jaffa rebellion several years ago. (SG1: "The Road Not Taken")

Alternate Timelines

  • In an alternate timeline, Teal'c saw the defeat of the Goa'uld with the help of the Aschen but their defeat meant that there were few symbiotes for implantation. Teal'c had the emblem on his forehead removed at some point. When it was discovered that the Aschen were sterilizing Earth to take it over, Teal'c took part in a plan to send a message back in time to prevent this future. He arrived on Earth with another Jaffa in order to take control of the Stargate and after dialing the address needed, he took out some Aschen Automated weapons before succumbing to their fire. (SG1: "2010")
  • In an alternate timeline, he went with SG-1 back in time to 3000 B.C. using the Time Jumper to steal a ZPM from Ra. After obtaining it, the Time Jumper was found and they were forced to stay. Unwilling to remain under Ra's rule, they helped form a rebellion but were exposed and he was executed. (SG1: "Moebius, Part 1", "Moebius, Part 2")
  • In an alternate timeline, he was still the First Prime of Apophis and was on Chulak when a group of people from the Tau'ri were captured. When they told him about how the Goa'uld should have been defeated and they had proof, he took Daniel Jackson to Apophis and later returned to see the proof that they had. He helped them with getting their gear back and met them as they escaped. He sensed that a Goa'uld was in Jackson and shot him. He went with them aboard the Time Jumper and went back in time to 2995 B.C. and through the Stargate to Earth. He examined an alternate Jackson's plan for the rebellion but said that it needed to be altered to stop Ra from taking the Stargate. When O'Neill and Carter were trapped, Teal'c approached the Jaffa and asked them to stand down. They were stopped when the rebellion began. Teal'c lived out the rest of his life in Ancient Egypt. (SG1: "Moebius, Part 1", "Moebius, Part 2")
  • In an alternate timeline, Teal'c attends the extraction ceremony on the Tok'ra homeworld but due to Ba'al changing the past, he disappears. (Stargate: Continuum)
  • In an alternate timeline, Teal'c is convinced to serve Ba'al who offers the freedom of the Jaffa once all the other Goa'uld are defeated. In 2009 he helps to defeat and capture Apophis and presents him to Ba'al who executes him. Ba'al brings his fleet to Earth and has Teal'c search for the second Stargate in Antarctica. Teal'c later reports that the Tau'ri have found the Stargate and moved it but are also digging a hole in another location in Antarctica. Qetesh has Teal'c destroy the Stargate and the digging site and he confirms with Ba'al if that's what he wants and Ba'al agrees. He returns later to find Qetesh having put the Shikra blade through Ba'al and he asks Ba'al if he wants his last instructions enacted. When Qetesh kills Ba'al, Teal'c leaves the ship to get to an Al'kesh which he takes down to the second Stargate on Earth. Running into the rest of SG-1, Cameron Mitchell convinces him to help them and they go through the Stargate to Praxyon and end up inside Ba'al's Time machine. Qetesh's forces arrive and they fight them a Mitchell uses the time machine to leave. Teal'c is the last left alive but injured; Qetesh arrives and Teal'c activates an explosive device to kill them both. (Stargate: Continuum)
