Biography

Thor built the Labyrinth, Thor's Hammer and the aqueducts for the Cimmerians. (SG1: "Thor's Hammer") He also created the Hall of Thor's Might to test when the Cimmerians were advanced enough to see his true form. In 1998 he received a signal from Cimmeria that someone had solved the Hall of Thor's Might and began a communication with those involved. When he realized that they thought he was just a holographic recording he corrected them and learned that Thor's Hammer had been destroyed and that the Goa'uld had invaded. He came to Cimmeria aboard his ship the Biliskner and removed the Goa'uld presence. He told Gairwyn that he would be creating a new hammer that would make an exception for Teal'c and would be leaving behind an Asgard teacher to help them rebuild. (SG1: "Thor's Chariot")

Thor came to Earth to inform Jack O'Neill that the System Lords have turned their attention towards Earth and that they were planning to negotiate for Earth's inclusion in the Protected Planets Treaty. Thor took part in the negotiations and mentioned to O'Neill that the Asgard regretted allowing the Goa'uld to become as powerful as they are and that the Asgard were not able to contend with their full strength if it came down to war. He also mentioned the Asgard were at war with another species far worse than the Goa'uld. When the negotiatons were concluded Thor left Earth. (SG1: "Fair Game") Thor approached Earth after some Asgard technology had been stolen and the Asgard wanted O'Neill to lead to investigation into finding those that were responsible. Thor was given the address to a planet where he could find out the address of where the Rogue NID were keeping their technology. Once found, he went there aboard the Biliskner and took all the stolen property back. (SG1: "Shades of Grey")

When a Goa'uld ship was detected in orbit of a protected planet, Thor came to drive them off. He contacted Osiris and told them to leave or he would be forced to fire upon them. When Osiris refused, Thor attacked but the ship's shield resisted the attack. Osiris attacked Thor's ship, destroying it and capturing Thor as he escaped. Osiris told Thor that Anubis was coming to interrogate him personally. O'Neill contacted Thor from the planet, using a communication hologram and Thor told him to rescue Heimdall and his research from the planet and leave. Anubis arrived and implanted a mind probe into Thor's brain to download his memories. Thor managed to interface with the ships computer to free O'Neill and Teal'c. When they were rescued and the Asgard removed the probe, his body slipped into a coma. (SG1: "Revelations")

Thor's consciousness remained intact aboard the ship where it began to take control of various systems, blocking off the computer core and then venting the atmosphere around it as Anubis and his Jaffa tried to shut him down. They eventually abandoned the ship, activating a self destruct but Thor stopped the countdown. He took the ship to Earth for help and when the ship crashed into the Pacific Ocean, he managed to delete a security subroutine to open a door to a corridor that was filling with water with O'Neill and Carter inside. They downloaded his consciousness to a computer drive and took it off the ship. (SG1: "Descent")

He tracked the Prometheus as it left Earth and came to the ship speaking with SG-1 about a mission to trap the Replicators. (SG1: "Prometheus") He towed the Prometheus back to Earth, beamed up some supplies and then towed it to the Ida galaxy as O'Neill got permission to use the ship. Thor told them that the Asgard used Reese's body to draw the Replicators to Hala, an Asgard world, and trap them with a time dilation device but it didn't work. After getting close enough they learned that the device had been activated but instead sped up time on the planet. He left SG-1 to the mission and later received word that they had landed and then another message about the Human-form Replicators on the planet. Thor later met with them after they accomplished the mission. (SG1: "Unnatural Selection")

Thor came to Earth to install Asgard designed shields and weapons on the Prometheus as a gift for SG-1 helping stop the Replicators and stopped by The Pentagon where Hammond was meeting with Ambassadors from Great Britain, France and China to tell them that the Asgard would prefer that the Stargate remain where it is. He also mentioned to Senator Robert Kinsey that O'Neill said he should send Kinsey to a far away planet. (SG1: "Disclosure") Thor received a communication from an ship in orbit of Earth and came to investigate, finding SG-1 had captured Loki. Thor said that the Asgard had protected O'Neill's DNA and while he was advanced for the Tau'ri he was not the solution Loki thought he was for the Asgard cloning issues. He helped restore the degradation to the clone of O'Neill so he wouldn't die and took Loki for punishment. (SG1: "Fragile Balance")

Thor was overseeing the destruction of Hala and the end of the Replicators with a black hole when he detected a ship nearby and beamed Carter and Teal'c off the ship before it was destroyed. Some Replicators survived and managed to escape, infesting Thor's ship. The Replicators kidnapped Carter so Thor and Teal'c went after them, planning to use Thor's ship's auto-destruct to destroy the Replicators but another Replicator slowed down Thor's ship before it could get close. (SG1: "New Order, Part 1") With no other option, Thor took Teal'c back to Earth to collect Jackson and O'Neill, connecting O'Neill to the computer so he could use the Ancient knowledge in his mind to make a weapon to use against the Replicators. They beamed a Human-form Replicator aboard to try to access its communication data and O'Neill used the weapon to destroy it. Thor dropped SG-1 off on Orilla to rescue Carter as he modified his ship to produce the energy the weapon made to destroy all the Replicators on the planet. (SG1: "New Order, Part 2")

When Alec Colson showed an Asgard to the press, Thor came to Earth to investigate and it was found to be an empty clone. Thor asked for ideas for a gift for the President from O'Neill and Jackson and later transported himself and O'Neill to the White House. He later beamed Colson to the SGC. (SG1: "Covenant") Thor sent a Replicator disruptor satellite to the Alpha Site, contacting Teal'c about where to position it and wishing him luck in stopping Fifth. (SG1: "Gemini") When the Replicators invaded the Milky Way, Thor came to Earth to work with Carter on finding the cypher that was used to protect the Replicators from the disruptor. They managed to make progress but after the first test the Replicators adapted again. When they infested his ship, he dropped Carter off at Earth and took his ship as far away as he could. (SG1: "Reckoning, Part 1") Thor had to upload his mind to the ships computer and later was downloaded into a new body. (SG1: "Reckoning, Part 2")

Thor and Heimdall took part in a mission in another galaxy. (SG1: "Ripple Effect") Thor met with SG-1 and Hank Landry when they arrived at Orilla and told them that the Asgard were giving them all of their technology and all of their knowledge as the Asgard were dying. He explained to Carter that their attempts to fix their genetic degradation had resulted in a disease and they were unable to save themselves so they intended to end all of their lives together. He told Carter that the Tau'ri were the "fifth race" and their role was to save the galaxy. Carter gave him a hug. When Ori Warships arrived, he beamed back to his people as Orilla exploded, killing them all. (SG1: "Unending")
